While Regina has been gracious in preparing our meals each month, as a group I think we should help her with the food so we can provide our own SMARC Thanksgiving feast. I will be in contact with Lewis and Regina and bounce that idea off to them and get their thoughts on how they would like to conduct our meal next month and post more info on Facebook and the website on our plans. On a side note, I want to take this time to make a formal apology to the membership. At our last meeting, I did not make it clear that I had a small program to present after our meal. I should have let you know at the beginning of the meeting during the announcements and business discussion, Because of this misunderstanding, members left after their meal and I decided to hold off and not give the presentation that night. I will make it a point going forward to communicate this better at the beginning of the meeting or during the nets so that everyone will be able to benefit from our programs in the future.
